Planet X Weekend
I spent the long weekend with friends at a Burning Man event on Vancouver Island, it was fun, muddy, and very entertaining. I stayed in the Tropicana camp, where our cabin was dressed up like a Hawaiian nook. I went crazy at Value Villiage right before we went on the ferry to stock up on the bermuda shorts and tropical swim wraps.
Unfortunately, 3 people ended up in hospital due to drug overdose.....but there are lots of great live performances and social interaction among the colorful costumes.
I was blown away by the Sacred Kiss Workshop put on by Little Woo, who was a friend of a friend.
Below is what is spoken during the Sacred Kiss Healing ceremony, which I thought is very moving:

Clear Sight thanks to Dr. Joseph King of Clearly Lasik
Finally, after wearing glasses since grade 4 I finally saved up and spent $3200 and got lasik eye surgery in June. If I had know how painless and hassel free it was, I would have done it years ago. The whole procedure is really about 10 minutes, and it doesn’t hurt. Just felt like your eye balls are being pushed and squeezed.
